Ramayana ch-2 (part -3)

Welcome dear friends to another episode of Ramayana  In the previous episode we learnt how squirrels got stripes at there back and how Angada won a challenge he gave to Ravana 's ministers when he tried to warn Ravana about Rama 's arrival . He went back to Rama and told him Ravana had not listened to him. So Rama  started a war to get back his wife . Ravana agreed for the war . Ravana first went to Kumbakarna. A  huge demon who got a curse to sleep for 8 years. demons played drums and trumpets to wake him up. Finally he woke up with a loud thud . When he came to know every thing from his brother Ravana he went to the battle field to battle Rama . He was a major destruction to the vanara army. Hanuman tried to battle kumbakarna but  it became a tie (meaning nobody won) . Finally Rama invoked  magical arrows of great power  (or amogh arrows ) and cut of his limbs  from his body which flew to Ravana 's  court . He then cut of Kumbakarna 's head and killed him. Ravana was shocked to hear his brother's death. He later sent different attacks to the monkey army everyday in the battle . But the members of vanara army defeat all of Ravana 's attacks  . Ravana's son narantaka was killed by Angada while his other son devantaka was killed by hanuman. His son trishira was killed by Rama   and Ravana's son prahasta was killed by Nila when he threw a huge rock on his head . killing him. Rava's son Atikya was killed by Lakshmana using Bramhastra

Welcome dear friends to another episode of Ramayana . In the previous episode we learnt hoe Ravana killed Jatayu and how Rama met him.  While continuing the search for Sita Rama killed a demon named Kabandha . A celestial being emerged out of the body of the demon and said " I am very thankful to you Rama .  Welcome dear friends to another episode of the Ramayana , in the previous episode we learnt how Rama obeyed Kaikai 's orders to go to the forest and how Lakshmana insisted to come with them . Rama Lakshmana  ,  Sita started their journey around the Dandaka  forest and stayed their. Meanwhile in Ayodhya the sad  king Dasharatha  died . Bharata was furious after hearing about  Rama's departure to the forest , so he went to see mother Kaikai .
