Ramayana part 1

 Today  I am going to tell you about  the famous epic Ramayana  .
Once upon a time king Dasharatha of Ayodhya was hunting in the forest , while hunting he heard a strange  sound from the river , and thinking it was an animal without even looking at it , shot the thing. Instantly, he heard a cry as soon as he saw what it was , he was shocked . It was not an animal but a boy trying to fetch water for his parents . The boy replied "I am Shravan who have carried my blind parents to the forest and am  trying to give them water . But you shot me.  I beg you to please give this water to my parents so they can quench there thirst" . The sad king Dasharatha gave water to his parents after finding them in the jungle .When they came to know about their sons death , Shravan 's  father cursed Dasharatha saying "we shall die crying out the name of our son in the same time you too shall die crying out the name of your son ." after king Dasharatha returned to his palace , he told great sage Vasishta everything . Sage Vasishta replied ," the curse will absolutely happen , but you will surely have a son ". Hence forth the king  and the queen started  a pooja to have a  son. Instantly Agni deva appeared from the sacred fire a gave three pots of sweet  to  Dasharatha  and asked him to distribute it to his wives . The first wife Kausalya drank have the pot of sweet and gave it to Sumitra the second wife of the king .  The third wife  Kaikai drank half and gave it to Sumitra . hence Sumitra had two children . Kausalya gave birth to Rama (Incarnation of Vishnu). Sumitra to Lakshmana ( incarnation of Ananta) and Shatrughana  and Kaikai to Bharata .

 Welcome dear friends to another episode of Ramayana . In the previous episode we learnt how the sons of Ravana  were killed and how his brother kumbakarna was killed. Shattered that He lost his brother and sons , Ravana decides to send his only surviving son Meghnad to the battlefield .  Have you tried dropping a steel bolt in a bucket of water ? If no, so here is what happens. The moment the bolt hits the surface of the water, it begins to sink. Well then in that case how do steel ships that are far larger than a little bolt stay afloat on the sea? This depends on the density on the object in the water. should the density of the object be more than that of water, it is bound to sink.
